A journey through time

Over the course of 196 pages with a rich art-quality feel, a century-spanning history emerges, brought to life through extensive interviews with members of the Loro Piana family as well as illustrations and archival documentary.

The artistry of book-binding

The book is housed in an elevated clamshell case and covered in the Loro Piana Tela Sergio fabric, one of Sergio Loro Piana’s favourite fabrics, crafted from cotton and linen. It encapsulates the Maison’s savoir-faire and unique sensoriality.

From hand to hand

Behind this volume is a chain of hands, carefully tending to every part of the book-making process. The publication is bound by hand using traditional techniques, with colour plates also tipped a mano.
